Anyone properly trained as a dive master, like Max, would know that the proper thing to do would be to call DAN first in the case of suspected DCI.

The only exception to calling DAN first would be if you have an unconscious diver, or a bleeding diver. In that case you would want to call 911 first and then DAN in route.

Anyone not properly trained as a D/M but who is giving advice on the internet as though they are playing a cyber-D/M is only going to cause confusion and danger for other divers.
