NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. If you're in Newport Beach, keep an eye out for jellyfish. They'll be hard to miss. Thousands of the tentacled, umbrella-shaped creatures have gathered in the harbor channels for their annual breeding pilgrimage.
They're known as moon jellyfish and measure about eight inches in diameter. They're expected to stay in the harbor for a few weeks.

Don't get too close _ jellyfish can inflict painful stings. Authorities say there have been no reports of injuries to swimmers.
