I remember when I first picked up an issue several years ago and there used to be some good articles on different "off the beaten path" places to dive. There even used to be some stuff on the North Coast if you can believe that. Yeah I know, the red headed step child of California, the place that sucks so bad that nobody bothers, but Bruce Watkins used to do some good write ups about it. I remember

Now all there is is regurgitated articles about Catalina, Laguna, a few other Channel island spots, and once in a great while a blurb on Monterey. How many times can somebody read about the same places.
Is Sheckler just burned out or what.
CDN needs to bring back some life within it's pages and include all of California or rename itself Southern California Dive News.
