Hey, I know Roland and he does take good care of his gear, so he's a good contact for that. But beyond just the BC, if you are looking for gently used (or some new) gear at good prices, and you want to do a good thing for a kid at the same time, come down to the swap meet going on this Saturday at Malaga Cove in PV starting at 9 a.m. All the gear is donated and the proceeds are going to help with medical expenses for Travis Robinson, a great young guy who's the son of a local dive icon, John "Jocko" Robinson.
A former H.S. football player, diver, and all-around athletic kid, Travis was paralyzed suddenly in a swimming pool accident about two years ago, but he has a buoyant spirit that's fighting back, and there's hope through an operation which may help him. We're trying to get him that help. One way the local dive community is helping is through the swap meet I mentioned. You can take a look at the items already collected here, but there are going to be a lot of last-minute additions.

after reading the info click on “View Items – Page 1”. The Swap Meet will be held during the Dive Festival on June 25th at Malaga Cove.
By the way, we still welcome donations of your gently used or unused Scuba gear in safe working order. Donated items can be dropped off at Sea D’Sea Dive Shop in Riviera Village, or brought to the Dive Festival on Saturday. All funds raised by the Swap Meet will go directly to the Help Travis Fund. Checks and Cash only. Exact change appreciated. Questions? Email beachdiving@earthlink.net
