Should it have been caught in the pre-dive buddy check? Again, if a couple of newbies dont know any better.
One instructor I know taught me to make sure by picking up the bc at the base, lifting it a few inches and shaking it. If the tank wasnt in solid, it probably would be noticed as i shook the bc.
Instructor should have done a better check. One is a random event, three are inexcusable.
Anyone try the apollo bio-lock strap yet? Any feedback? Looks like a good idea but at 75 buck a pop, I would like to hear from others before putting down the money on the table.
I still have scars from the scubapro "can opener" on the older straps.
