I'm not sure which Sherwood computer you have, but you may want to try taking it to a watch or dive shop. Both have equipment to change the battery and pressure test. I took mine to Wallins in San Mateo, Ca. The watch shop at Sak's Fifth Ave in San Diego said they could do it too. Just a possibilty in case you aren't in a hurry to buy a new computer.
