i'm sick and tired of non certified people saying there are divemasters. be advised that in 3rd world countries and islands, locals are saying they are divemasters when most do not even have open water certification. small and big expensive resorts are pulling this con job. there are many resorts that do use professional certifed people. what is your life worth? these people might know the dive sites but they are not trained in first aid or in how to do a rescue in the water. you are paying for a professional. demand to see there certification card of divemaster, asistant instructor, divecontrol specialist , instructor or instructor trainer.
if they can not show you one of these cards demand a refund from the resort operator. its you life!!!!
