Yeah, right. If the rigs were visited as frequently as the reefs we all dive on, they'd be bare metal with algae and a few minor scallops left. And gone would also be the fish. Why do you think the owners of the rigs don't like to see divers going in with spear guns? Because the owners want the (few and not fast enough renewable) fish for themselves.

Humans have always considered it a right to take from resources. It is not. It is a privilege.

Can you say threatened, endangered, extinct?
