According to Kevin Slagle at CEMR less than 5
minutes ago via telephone... as the bill is
currently worded it will not allow the taking
of any game or marine life from the sites.

Kevin was quick to point out that the bill will
more than likely be re-worded to allow fishing and
hunting to sport divers/fishermen by the time
it gets either passed or flushed by the Assembly.
This will no doubt be pressure from divers &
fishermen haunt the rigs.

That the whole reason to get the bill passed was
to enable the oil companies an out from spending
the millions of dollars required to remove the
rigs. Give it to a non-prof org, take the write
off and let them deal with it. In this case, they
will insist it be used as a marine preserve.
