I was talking to an old Captain the other day, who took the chamber over to Catalina. I was telling him about Chamber Day, thinking he would be proud. WRONG, he was very upset. He took the chamber over with the understanding that USC would always, always, provide free service to the diving world. My question; are the services that they provide worth the $4,500.00 price tag. Agreed, they save lives and stop divers from becoming hurt. But what happend to the free service that they agreed too? I know times are changing, and things are going up. Many will disagree with this, but is the Chamber realy there to help, or just another org. that is getting fat on donations?
