hello all-
i just stumbled across this message board and have like what i see. i'm wondering if any of you so cal divers have some recommedations for dive spots in orange county (newport/laguna)? i'm a north coast diver/instructor but have yet to get underwater in orange. i'm going to be in teh area this wknd 9/18 and am going to be taking out some fairly new divers (old school mates) to help them gain some cal diving experience. i don't want anything too easy for them or for myself, yet don't want them to experience Monestary-like conditions either. looking for a place where they can see the wonders of our our coast (kelp forest/reef) to get them to be regular backyard divers and not your once a year caribbean tourist style divers. any help suggestions would be appreciated.
