A Request For Discussion:
What does everyone think about electronically mandating valid
e-mail address on the entry boiler plates before a message is
posted.
This way, we can filter out some of the recent crap being
posted. For the most part, there are things being said about
diving (rec and tech) that are far beyond what is being touted
a safe practice.
Being anonymous shouldn't indemnify you from speaking without
honest intentions. Besides, I am a firm believer that the age
of accountability in what someone says publically is upon us. But
that's my angle on things, what's yours?
I am not aiming towards one particular topic, as there have been MANY
trolls out there lately - and most of them are in fear of supplying
good e-mail addresses when posting to the BBS.
Any input from us CA divers?
