We're delighted to announced the addition of the Sand Dollar to the Chamber Day Fleet. A 3-day trip they had skedded has been postponed, opening up the date for Chamber Day. The Sand Dollar joins a group that includes the Aquatica, Bottom Scratcher, Cee Ray, Encore, Golden Doubloon, Great Escape, Horizon, Magician, Mr. C, Sundiver, and Westerly.
And we also ought to take a moment to again express our deepest appreciation to the boats and crews that so generously donate their time and efforts to make Chamber Day work. Remember that this whole thing started when the boats captains got together and sought a way to help put our Chamber on better financial footing.
For those who don't know, Chamber Day is an annual benefit for the Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber. Last year the event (consisting of Chamber Day, Chamber Evening, the Michael Kane Challenge, and daytime and evening raffles) raised $67,018 for our Chamber. This year we hope to do even better.
