Adrian,

I bit the mouthpiece off my MR22 Abyss after about
15 dives, so I installed a USD/Aqualung Comfobite
mouthpiece (with the bridge across the top to rest
against the roof of your mouth). Less than half
the price of a Seacure mouthpiece, and after 40 dives,
the Comfobite is still in one piece. I'm sure the
Seacure (with its large surface area) would
be just as effective and comfortable, if not more so.
I also installed a Scubapro 45 deg. hose swivel at the
second stage so I could keep the hose close to me
and routed up under my arm. This has done wonders
for comfort...the weight of the stiff heavy gauge
hose no longer pulls the second stage down and
away from my mouth. Get the mouthpiece, the
swivel, and a little longer hose (though I am
still using the short factory hose)and you
should be able to enjoy your reg for many years.
