They seem to be at Long Point every time I go there. The west side of the point is jumbled boulders with a little kelp. Shallow in the cove and rocks down to 140'+. Black Seabass can be seen there if we can keep the poachers out. Two carcasses were found there last year. The east side has more kelp and shallow, yet sometimes surgy crevices that some refer to as caves.
They also frequent a spot they call Eel Land,due to the friendly advances of the routinely hand-fed eels.
The spots the boats visit are generally calm and protected from westerly swells. You should have a great time.
