My instructor is Phil Sammet (also the skipper of the dive boat Cypress Point). Most of the diving we do is at Point Lobos but sometimes we do the north end of Carmel Bay as well.

As far as balance my light (a Nite-Rider) is way too small to balance out two stage bottles and I don't need a bigger one. I would like to take both O2 and 50/50 on a dive and I'm still sorting out how to best do that.

Finally as far as narcosis I also do a lot of Nitrox recreational diving and honestly can't tell much difference between an END of 100 feet an an END of 150. At 160 I can feel it but it isn't severe, by 170 I know it's time to stop going deeper. I know people who are seriously narced at an END of 110 but I'm apparently less affected.

Clinton
