Hi Cancer,

Do not feel bad about "price shopping". I work at a dive shop in San Diego and I know what the normal mark up is on gear. Lets just say about the L.P.O. (which I dive as my Octo and love it) at $120. that is almost double what we sell it for and 3 times what we buy it for. In todays market you have good deals, bad deals, and of course O.K. deals. I am very loyal to my dive shop and promote it whenm ever possible, but i have even been told by the owner of the shop that if I can get a better deal someplace else then get it. We don't make a tremendous amount money and need to shop around. I do like high quality dive gear and i know the high prices come with it. So by shopping around if i can save over 10% i will go to the other shop. And like i mentioned i am also loyal to my shop. If I get great service someplace I will pay alittle more something just to do business with them. Just don't get loyalty confused with guilt.
