I am not supporting cancers shop owner but here are a few things to think about when you visit your local dive store.what kind of profit do you think a shop makes on a airfill.they have to spend 6-10thousand upfront for the compressor alone.not including filters and oil at $35 a gallon plus maintanance.Thats alot of money!Also think about location and overhead.these vary from town to town.Beleive me my freind who owns a shop is not a wealthy man.Happy he is with his lifestyle.Cancer's guy sounds like a jerk i know in Ventura.I refuse to use his store and tell all my freinds about it that is your best bet with this guy is to nail him with word of mouth.
