should have given you the o-ring and installed
it themselves for you - period!
If this was a DIN o-ring for your own reg or
tank, well that's another issue.
If you were on a boat I was either working on or
diving from recreationally, I would have given
you the o-ring. In fact, I would have probably
given you 2-3 of them. It's not worth worrying
about an item that typically costs about .16
when bought in bulk if it's going to keep anyone
out of the water.
Of course, shame on you for not bringing a spare
in the first place.
