Most definitely Not Cotton. There are numerous manufactures producing polortec and Thinsulite products that are the most efficient type of underwater thermal protection. Where you are diving (So Cal vs.No.Cal) makes a difference in the weight of your underwear. Premium manufactures are Andies Undies, DUI, OMS, etc.
