If your Burst disk blew then $5.00 is about right for replacement, but if you mean the o-ring around the neck of the tank then you got ripped off. The o-ring retails for about $1.00 and I always do the 30 second change for free. I call it dive shop curtesy but some would call it loosing money. In any event keeping a spare with you could mean the all the difference in getting the lunch you wanted or settling for the .99cent special having to buy a $5.00 o-ring all over
