I think the official sanctuary site says that it comes to within 120 feet of the surface in some places which would make it relatively diveable. At 150 to the top of a pinnacle though you'd be talking about 1 dive a day. For me coming from Cupertino it would mean dedicating an entire 3 day weekend, lots of driving and boat travel for 40-45 minutes of total bottom time (over 2 dives). I actually am interested but the reward to work ratio seems a bit low. Now if somebody goes out there and comes back with tales of 5 foot lingcod, forests of gorgonians and huge hydrocoral formations that might be another story!
