Doing the oil rig Eureka Saturday morning. Heard it on the VHF USCG call this AM, search
continues as of 6:00 pm tonight.
A member of a trio buddy team. 27 year old male. Problem noted at depth, surfaced without
regularor in mouth and slipped back under.
This is an unofficial report with the info gleened only from what we heard on the VHF. The site
they were on has a "bottom" at -800'+.
News reports are saying it was on a site "somewhere between Catalina and Huntington
Harbor". Boat name withheld ATT.
Of course John., you know I'm not going to point fingers, by the Dream was the boat scheduled for that
day, and I have it reported to me that it was back in harbor really early today. But then we must
keep in mind that this could have been a private boat doing Eureka.
See you on the 12th, this should be interesting...
