I just received my open water certification and would like to know if I'm experienced enough to dive near San Clememte. How are the currents? What is the Vis in mid-June? What about Kelp? Since I will be using my regulator/dive watch/dive tables, I don't plan to go very deep- and since I'm on a business trip, will be diving by myself- unless I can form a threesome with equally cautious divers. Any words of advice regarding diving in the Pacific would be appreciated.
