I was at Scuba 2000 today (Sunday) when we got a call that the body had been recvoered. My understanding is that the body was discovered in 110' of water, but I'm not sure exactly where, although basically within the general vicinty of the UW Park. No further details were given to me on whether or not there was air left in the tank, equipment in place, etc. I talked with the instructor (also at the show) the victim had been assisting prior to the fatal dive and was told the victim did have a computer, but it wasn't known if it was downloadable. If it was, that might provide some extra info/clues as to what went wrong. But this'll probably be one of those dives that, unless the autopsy turns up a non-drowning cause of death (like heart attack), we'll never really know what triggered the event.
