Back in 1984 I took the LAC-ADP course. Before that I took PADI and NASDS advanced courses and they seemed to be missing something. After taking LAC-ADP (ADP) I found out what it was ---everything.
What ohter courses talked about or mentioned very breifly the ADP did. Chamber dive, beach rescue, boat rescue, fresh water, and on and on. I think it made me a better diver and a diver that will contenue to dive for many more years --safely.
It's worth every penny. It's also worth all the time spent as the course is not a weekend one watch a video and get you card.
