I just hung up with Captain Tim who is at the dry dock. On Sunday the boat was at Santa Barbara Island, near three sisters and Sutile Rock. Captain Dave was driving as Tim was at Scuba 2000. The prop struck a rock that caused damage to the prop and the shaft.
It should be noted that the boat came back under it's own power, absolutely no one was hurt and the Coast Gaurd has already cleared the incident. It was simply a case of the prop hitting a rock.
Tim has asked me to put this post up because he is at the dock supervising the repairs. He has canceled the trips for this weekend and is advised that the repairs will be complete by Wednesday next week and he will plan on resuming normal schedules.
