I took my O2 bottle and reg in for service and cleaning right after I found out about this. I now plan on doing it every 6 months or so and being even more cautious than I already am. I suspect the Ti regulator may have had something to do with the intensity of the fire but I wouldn't be surprised if a contaminant in the valve or regulator may actually have started it. We may never know but in the meantime I'm gonna be even more careful.
