Hi All , I was on a 3 day Conception dive boat trip last week and finaly stumbled across a halibut . I got a good shot and captured it . I have never seen one in the 5 years I have been diving . I was stoked . I did not measure it but the deckhand estimated it at about 25 # . So now that I have acually seen one . How about some tips on locating , aproaching and shooting these tasty fish ? Why is this the best time of the year to find them in the shallows ? They can be found there all year cant they ? We ate half the fish on the boat . I want to cook the other half this weekend . How do you like to cook them ? Dale
