I dive a OMS IQ w/ SS back plate, an excel 7/5 semi-dry suit, and I use a single steel 120 bottle. I went with the OMS for the tech diving options it offers
OMS doesn't give you the tech options that are needed. They have options that look good but are worthless in real tech diving situations.
Halcyon on the other hand is designed to satisfy the needs of a tech diver, not just add a bunch of useless O-rings and bands. These bands have been directly linked to several deaths and even OMS is moving away from them.
