I dive out of Long beach Harbor along the breakwall in about 45 feet of water. I have see over 50 or so Black Seabass in the last three years. Yearsterday in fact, on June 18th, I was surprised from behind by a five foot Seabass that looked about two hundred pounds. It almost brushed up against me and scared the be-jesus out of me!
