John was one of the best. His classes were not only by the book, but he would give great examples to demonstrate each theory using soda bottles and any other prop that would help his students understand the importance of these theories as they relate to diving. Always the "diving dinosaur", John could always be seen diving with a steel 72 and no BC. His love of the sport and great sense of humor will be missed.
