Before you decide, know exactly what you are
getting.
Questions you should ask are ....
How many hours of classroom?
How many hours of pool work?
How many dives (skin and scuba)?
What is the size of the class going to be?
Who is teaching the class?
How long has the instructor been teaching?
Does he/she instruct or do they use videos?
You should be concerned about price and
what you will be expected to pay for outside of
the cost given.
Cost of the class is secondary to the training you
will get. In many cases, you get exactly what you
pay for ... other than the LA County Programs
(but only Advanced and Instructor programs are
generally available and that is once a year for
each class).
