Waters are indeed warmer in New England. You have a warm
current coming up from the Gulf. We have a cold current
coming down from Alaska most of the year.
Typical here is a double 6.5mm suit, with may doing a
single 7mm plus a hooded vest. Others go dry, especially
after this horrible spring. Just rent a suit when you visit.
