I saw this on the discovery channel before. They finally found a snail to control the weeds. In Europe (I think is spain, french), the killer weed slowly under control. And the snail is 3 or 4 times of their average size compare to original place.
If only small area in the sea, definitely pull every leaf out.
Let's see what is the end of the story.
