When we were first certified, I asked many well traveled divers where they would go if they could only go to one place. Nearly everyone said, "Cozumel." Well, we chose to go their on our first warm water vacation. We've been back 15 times in the past ten years. Yes, we have been to Hawaii, Truk, Palau, the Galapagos, Coco Island, but we continue to return to Cozumel whenever we can. The diving is fantastic, clear warm water with both large and small creatures to look at or photograph. It's convenient to get to, inexpesive and consistently fantastic. I would also recommend that you stay at Scuba Club Cozumel. It's an all inclusive (room, meals, diving) hotel situated right on the water. They cater to divers.
