Premature Ventricular Contractions (PVC) and diving

I posted this on the Rodale's BBS, but I figured folks on this board might have some good answers too. A close friend and dive buddy was recently diagnosed with PVC. Except for this, she is very healthy and has no symptoms. They are in the middle of tests to determine what's the cause, but in the mean time her doctor (also a diver) has advised that she stop diving for now. My question is this: Has anyone out there had PVC, had it treated, and been able to continue diving? Evidently the danger is that if the heart contractions become acute, she can lose blood pressure and pass out. Which, needless to say, would be a bad thing underwater. Any info would be appreciated.
