Frog - if you're asking these questions to decide
if nitrox training is worth pursuing, know that you
only gain a little in time at that depth. Nitrox is
far more useful at 60-90ft, and esp with multiple
dives.

You can't just subtract nitrogen and add oxygen
indefinitely. Oxygen is toxic in higher quantities.
You need to switch to using helium at those depths.

And if the others weren't clear - do not grab a
bottle and go diving. While I think it is possible
to self train in nitrox, your questions indicate
that you don't know enough to do it safely. I'm
not talking mildly unsafe like diving a wall with
bad bouyancy control. We're talking grand mal
seizure - drowning on the spot.
