I dive year-round in a wetsuit. Late August through November are the warmest months, with surface temps as high as 74(during El Nino). In the winter and early spring, water temps can dip into the high 40's to low 50's. Depending on depth, the thermoclines can be dramatic. I've seen five different thermoclines on one dive, but have seen 71 degrees beyond 100' in October.
