Another scuba chat board that I sometimes hang out at, along with some of the folks from this board, does a group dive every year and some have expressed interest in doing a get together at Catalina next year. Diving would include Catalina of course, as well as San Clemente I. and possibly northern channel islands. Past get togethers have lasted at least a week for most of those attending.
I've done quite a bit of diving around Catalina and San Clemente I., as have some of the others who are part of this group, but all my diving has been on a liveaboard.
I am not familier with the hotels, resorts on Catalina, nor with the restaurants, prices, etc.
The trip is in its very early tentative planning stage right now, I am just trying to get a broad range of prices for lodging and meals.
Any assistance with this would be helpful!
