I heard through the grapevine that a fairly good diver, possibly a
dive master or instructor, got lost on the Yukon and came up with
only 100 Psi left in his tank. He didn't even have time to do a
safety stop, but he is O.K. Apparently, the Yukon is very dark inside. The Yukon is a wonderful ship to dive but I strongly feel that divers should be wreck certified, especially if they want to penetrate it. I just finished a wreck diver course and I feel really
comfortable penetrating a wreck now, whereas, I wasn't before. Just
food for thought.
