At this point I'm not an instructor. I started an IDC a few years ago and dropped out because I couldn't put up with PADI insisting that I promote continuing education 3 times in every lecture. I asked the question that rather than me selling them additional classes why don't I teach them how to dive right the 1st time. The answer I got was that PADI REQUIRES you to promote con ed or you don't pass the IE. So I got up and walked out.

But JJ has been asking me to become a GUE instructor. I hold GUE in high regard and I am stringly considering it at this point. In fact, I'll be with JJ this weekend doing some wreck diving in Virginia and we have already agreed to discuss the issue.

But that aside, I have in the past taken diver's on wrecks and given them the benefit of my experiences. I'm happy to do that but just realize that it would not be a *certification course*.

Hope the weather clears up and you get to do some diving.

Later
