I dive in the "red triangle" area in California. I've been doing it for about twenty years. I've seen a white shark in the water once and I consider myself lucky. Because I got to see one! I'll never see a grizley while hiking in the mountains of California because they all were shot out a century ago. Kind of makes me sad. Maybe you should stick to diving in warm water resorts. Those places are safe for wussies I hear.
