We wish to thank the Santa Clarita Dive Club for their hospitality and
membership attendance this past evening allowing Michael Kane and his
associate to give a DIR presentation specific to sport diving So Cal.
We would also like to thank those who showed up that were not members
seeking answers to their own questions concerning DIR and it's gear
configuration/philosophy. It was a light and highly informational
evening.
On the GE this Labor Day weekend, there is a trip chartered that's being billed as "The Grand Tour" of the Channel Islands. Almost all of the spots on the boat that long weekend have been booked by members of the SCDC. Michael agreed to provide many sets of DIR rigged back plate and wings as demo equipment that weekend.
This SCDC is truly a progressive dive club that has members who
participate in all aspects of sport diving off Southern California and
the Channel Islands. It was a pleasure to provide the information and
field the many questions asked during and after the presentation.
SCDC president Bruce Carnall has a good thing going there - a model
sport diving club of the up most quality.
