he certainly is not the "deep water cowboy" you refer
to him as. i'm surprised you would judge someone
w/o knowing them first--just like what john walker
did w/me several posts ago.
steve is rescue certified, just as you are, (and
he is encouraging me to get rescue cert as well) and
he is a safety conscious diver--something you obviously
are not aware of.
i would never think of steve going "off half-cocked"
and taking "ridiculous, needless chances" and neither
would his wife whom he patiently got into diving.
i would never choose to dive w/someone that fit that
description, yet i would choose to dive w/steve any
day!
he has been diving for ~30 years now in cal in
varying conditions, so if i were you, i would show
a little more respect.
i think you are starting to turn this into a personal
thing, which is unbecoming and uncalled for.
