The one positive thing that this thread on the Yukon had done for me, is make me re-evaluate what kind of dive the Yukon really is. Before, I had the impression it was an easy recreational dive, where the hull was easily penetrated by anyone with with an AOW cert. Now I know that I was mistaken and it's more complicated than that. Perhaps if dive boats made it a habit of posting the pros, cons, and dangers of diving the Yukon or had detailed briefings educating their divers about the environment, that would go a long way toward preventing dangerous situations from occuring in the first place.
