Mike, I suspect that the problem behind all this is that
you do a very different level of wreck diving than most of
us. I think that shows up in your writing.
I think that when you consider a wreck, the notion of pentration
is a given. All of your early postings made no distinction
between touring the outside and entering within. I still disagree
that these suggestions should be required for penetration, but
also believe it's foolish to do it without them. But your
writing strongly implied that you believed these rules should
apply to all visitors.
Many of us California divers (esp those of us in Monterey)
see very little wrecks, and are quite content just to swim around
the outsides. If we want more, I'm sure we'll seek out
good buddies and or instructors. For that, what would you
suggest?
