Hi Mike,
Great idea! I think that for $60. anyone who's even remotely interested in wreck diving should take this opportunity to dive with you and John.
I penetrated her again this past Sunday and the dive was facinating and beautiful. But I discovered another potential trouble spot that I don't believe we've discussed before and that is the sheets of plywood that were used to board up the cut holes. Many of these 3/4" sheets are now wedged in awkward positions against the ceilings and behind pipes. They apparently were pushed in by the waves. As currents flow through the ship, and as the plywood deteriorates, they have the potential to collapse and fall either injuring or traping a diver. Additionally, sand is starting to accumulate on the bottom in all the rooms. Though it's pretty hard to silt-out a room now, it won't be in the near future.
Just my $.02 worth, let me again validate you and John for offering to provide your expertise in this area.
