What do you base this statement on? Is this pure speculation? Did someone report an anchor entangled with his gear? (I've not heard of that myself.) Did some one else (who?) tell you this?
I think it's VERY important in cases like these to make VERY clear as to what is specualation, what is rumor or hearsay, or what was observed by an indeitifed/known observer.
