The certifications depend on what kind of diving you do if and want to teach if you are a recreation diver than I would go with PADI,NAUI,SSI, but if you like to do a lot of tech diving I would go with TDI (technical diving international). And even then I would do a little research to determine what best fits you. I hope this helps you.
